Miss Manda Pants: May 2012

Well hello blog world! Just thought I'd update ya'll on some pictures. I've just spent a lot of time with friends, hiking, biking, and enjoying this 85 degree weather! Oh!!! And I got chased by a hobo on the river trail, it was terrifying and so exciting at the same time! I won the race in case you were wondering. And a little tid-bit about the last romantic situation I told you I'd keep ya up on. It's actually pretty interesting.... so fella came to a party that I invited him to, and it was pretty much awesome. My childhood dream came true because this certain person was ALL into me, aaaaand we kissed. I may contribute that make out session to the giant beer pong game that had just completed when he came over. Anyways, I had the chance to seal the deal, and sleep with my biggest crush of my entire life.... and I didn't. Which I think is actually better. He wanted to, of course he wanted to, but I had the control and said no :) So he invited me to a BBQ the next day, I went and it was great hanging out with his friends. Apparently, I was about all this fella would talk about to his friends, and they were all on board and started inviting me to some of their little activities. Well I invited fella along on a hike later that week, and he came :) He actually even asked me out to a movie for that Saturday, of which I said yes of course..... here's where it gets interesting: 20 minutes before we're supposed to meet up for the show, I get a text to the extent of "I forgot that NASCAR was on, and I REALLY wanna watch it, but you should still come over".... well Miss "I get walked on" was about to say "okay"... however Miss "I control what I get in life" decided that she didn't want to watch stupid NASCAR. I politely said that he should stay and watch, and I was going to decide what to do that night because my girlfriends wanted to go out (which was the original plan after the movie). Well guess what? Fella died... or something because he hasn't said a WORD to me since. I wonder if he's just not used to rejection? Or if he in fact, died of boredom from watching NASCAR. Either way? I win. I made out with the person I've had the biggest crush on in my entire life.... and he turned out to be a d-bag that wasn't really worth my time and I figured that out pretty quickly. Moral of the story, things aren't always as great as they seem kids.
