Well hello there blog world!  I guess it's time for an update.  (because my pictures are getting backed up).  Can you believe that it's already June?  Not only is it June, it's 6 days in to June!  As is my usual format lately, I'll be updating my life with pictures.  Highlights include Moab, hiking, and Gay Pride Parade.

Did you guys get to see this?  I was lucky enough to be given eclipse glasses near the end and caught this picture through them.

Sorry it's sideways, don't wanna take the time to fix.... but to all of my loved ones at a distance, you should know..... That I have a new fella in my life ;)  It's new, exciting, and I'm hella nervous!  Let's cross our fingers I can make a relationship last longer than 2 months!!!

Well hello blog world!  Just thought I'd update ya'll on some pictures.  I've just spent a lot of time with friends, hiking, biking, and enjoying this 85 degree weather!  Oh!!!  And I got chased by a hobo on the river trail, it was terrifying and so exciting at the same time!  I won the race in case you were wondering.  And a little tid-bit about the last romantic situation I told you I'd keep ya up on.  It's actually pretty interesting.... so fella came to a party that I invited him to, and it was pretty much awesome.  My childhood dream came true because this certain person was ALL into me, aaaaand we kissed.  I may contribute that make out session to the giant beer pong game that had just completed when he came over.  Anyways, I had the chance to seal the deal, and sleep with my biggest crush of my entire life.... and I didn't.  Which I think is actually better.  He wanted to, of course he wanted to, but I had the control and said no :)  So he invited me to a BBQ the next day, I went and it was great hanging out with his friends.  Apparently, I was about all this fella would talk about to his friends, and they were all on board and started inviting me to some of their little activities.  Well I invited fella along on a hike later that week, and he came :)  He actually even asked me out to a movie for that Saturday, of which I said yes of course..... here's where it gets interesting:  20 minutes before we're supposed to meet up for the show, I get a text to the extent of "I forgot that NASCAR was on, and I REALLY wanna watch it, but you should still come over".... well Miss "I get walked on" was about to say "okay"... however Miss "I control what I get in life" decided that she didn't want to watch stupid NASCAR.  I politely said that he should stay and watch, and I was going to decide what to do that night because my girlfriends wanted to go out (which was the original plan after the movie).  Well guess what?  Fella died... or something because he hasn't said a WORD to me since.  I wonder if he's just not used to rejection?  Or if he in fact, died of boredom from watching NASCAR.  Either way?  I win.  I made out with the person I've had the biggest crush on in my entire life.... and he turned out to be a d-bag that wasn't really worth my time and I figured that out pretty quickly.  Moral of the story, things aren't always as great as they seem kids.

This week's hike:  Adam's Canyon

My dirty, dirty leg after hiking down in the dark :)  Wish I was that tan

Well it's officially Spring, and insasmuch, my life has been completely surrounded by happiness and staying busy.  I have new hiking boots, have gotten back into climbing, have been riding my bike, lots and lots of "girls nights", catching up with old friends, going out on the town, sushi sessions, and lots of sunshine.  I've officially began my 1 hike a week goal, except I've kinda been doing two hikes a week :)  I've also come up with a few other "fitness" goals:  1 hike a week, 3 yoga sessions, 1 climbing session, and 2 bike rides.  (these activities can be combined, ei, I'll be riding my bike to yoga or the climbing gym some nights)  My bike riding goal this summer is to ride my bike along a few trails starting in Clinton down to my parents house ish (about 47 miles).  Kinda just want to see how far I can push it.  I've also been working on a monthly volunteer project, doing a different experience each month, so if anyone has any causes or ideas, please forward them on to me!  Some other quick news, Clint and I broke up a few weeks back, it was kind of a mutual thing (in kind of, I mean to say that I know now it was for the best for me, even though at the time I didn't want to admit it because I felt like a failure, but he had become a completely different person than when we first started dating, I just didn't want to see that, I was happy with the rest of my life, but completely unhappy in the "relationship".  The relationship was absolutely amazing the first five weeks, but then something changed drastically with him and he simply stopped being that devoted, amazing boyfriend I had fallen for, he lost interest in me, and this was pretty hard to deal with for the last three weeks of the relationship). I was hurt, frustrated, and mainly disappointed that I can't seem to make a relationship last for more than a month. This is actually the first time in my life that I've taken a step back from dating in general. This has been the easiest "break-up" I've ever experienced. I haven't sought comfort in someone else, I'm comforting myself. Trying to find the balance in life (as usual).  I think it's a mixture of this being the right thing for me, and me being happy with my life in general.  So that's just a brief little tidbit if anyone was curious as to my personal romantic life.  (but keep your eyes out for a blog in the upcoming weeks.... I've had a gentleman from the past make a reappearance in my life, (and no, no one I've "dated", just someone as a 14 year old I had wanted to spend the rest of my life with ;), Heather Johnson, if you're reading this, this would be a certain "zesty2sexy" if you happen to recall who that was.  He hit me up on FB and we've basically been chatting for the past week.  Man, if my 14 year old self would know that this would happen, it would have made dealing with adolescence slightly easier; just knowing that someday that "crush" would actually initiate contact and be interested in ME..... but more to come as that as it develops!)

Back to what has been going on...... lots and lots of picture taking! I'll guide you through my life as of past with pictures.
